Received the Eames House Alphabet Blocks by House Industries this morning. Great piece of art. Actually toys for children. But in this case to celebrate the 4th anniversary of I.D. Dept. The blocks are a great spin of of the Eames Fonts created by House Industries in cooperation with the Eames Office. Visit also House Industries.

Specialized VIP Program @ Tour de France Prologue

The VIP program for the Specialized retailers was a success. Guests from all over the world, from Denmark to Japan, were invited to join Specialized watching their riders perform. Despite the rain, Fabian Cancellara showed his strenght and won the race. Another great day at the races!

I.D. Dept. was invited by Vira Netherlands to join 50 other guest on a trip to their recently opened VitraHaus. The VitraHaus is situated at the Vitra Campus. A collection of buildings. The production facility, fire station, museum are all designed by the worlds best architects like Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and the new VitraHaus is designed by Herzog & de Meuron. A great trip with great people. They sure know how to live the brand @vitra.

The goal was to create a clear image of ARCADIS Rail for both market as internal organization. The result, a book for all employees of ARCADIS Rail which tells them about the brand values and how they can use them for even better results.

We visited the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. Great building and collection of the historic and legendary brand. Porsche Centrum Gelderland, customer #1, invited us and 150 other guests to a Rally Tour. Best way of creating customer loyalty and satisfaction.

This year the Tour de France start in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. With two major teams, Saxo Bank and Astana, Specialized is host to their international relations and retailers. I.D.
